Young tupelos on the shore of a tiny lake off Braintree Pass Path. Tupelos are very easily recognizable during the wintertime
thanks to their special, unsophisticated branching pattern. Their horizontal limbs hardly produce any secondary branches.
The whole tree looks as if drawn by a young child.
