Thalictrum pubescens Pursh
May 9,
Boxford State Forest, North Andover
Tall meadow-rue is the most common meadow-rue in Massachusetts. Its first leaf shows up in May, by the time early meadow-rue
has almost finished flowering. The leaflets are mostly 2-3 lobed, which makes it different from early meadow-rue.
